As a core institution under the Association, the Center is specifically responsible for the management of Duan grade examination and evaluation in traditional Chinese Wushu. It has always taken the inheritance and protection of traditional Wushu styles as its mission, and the facilitation of learning and exchange for international traditional Wushu enthusiasts as its purpose, and has carefully built a standardized system for the "Traditional Chinese Wushu Duan Grade System". Meanwhile, the Center has actively initiated and launched the "Wushu Heritage Protection Program", collaborating with inheritors of various traditional Wushu styles to systematically explore and organize the resources of traditional styles, and to formulate internationally-aligned technical specifications and Duan grade examination standards. This not only conforms to the operational habits of the international market, but also provides a unified and authoritative basis for defining the standards of the international Wushu industry, further helping Macao Wushu establish a distinct image on the international stage and spread the charm of Chinese Wushu culture.
The Center is a core functional department for promoting the internationalization of Wushu and cross-regional exchange, with its work focused on cross-regional and cross-border collaboration in the field of Wushu. It actively builds bridges for cross-regional cooperation, deeply links relevant institutions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Chinese mainland to deepen collaboration, and pools joint efforts to empower the development of the Wushu industry. Leveraging Macao's unique position as a fusion of Chinese and Western cultures, the Center focuses on external Wushu culture promotion and liaison work, proactively connects with high-quality overseas platforms, and helps traditional Wushu styles reach the international stage. In addition, the Center links global communities of overseas Wushu enthusiasts to accurately collect information on international development trends and cutting-edge industry insights, providing scientific references for the international layout and long-term development of Macao Wushu, and continuously expanding the international influence of Chinese Wushu.
